Midland 2021 Tour Announcement – Last Resort Tour Schedule
Midland is the latest neotraditional country group to tour this fall, with more than 25 shows across the country. The tour kicks off on October 7th in Phoenix, AZ, and visits cities like Detroit, MI, Milwaukee, WI, Boston, MA, and more before ending on December 16th in Shreveport, LA.
While the group played a handful of socially distanced concerts in baseball stadiums earlier this year, along with performances at the world-famous Billy Bob’s Texas, this will be Midland’s first full-length tour since before the pandemic. The Texas trio has expressed their excitement about the Last Resort tour all over Instagram, and their fans are reciprocating.
Certain shows, like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, are already beginning to sell out! People are excited to hear hit Midland songs like “Drinkin’ Problem,” “Take Her Off Your Hands,” “Mr. Lonely,” and “Fourteen Gears,” a blend of old(er) and new hits from the band’s five-year career.
Yes, you read that correctly. Midland may have only formed officially in 2016, but they’ve gained critical acclaim and a huge fanbase for their neotraditional country hits. One only needs to watch their powerful live performances on YouTube to discover why – or watch the documentary, Midland: The Sonic Ranch, that tells the origin story of this unlikely Texas trio.
This documentary was put together during the pandemic, giving the group a chance to rest their vocal cords (and guitar strings) and prepare for their most exciting tour yet. Last Resort will feature Midland concerts as you’ve never seen before, an energized blend of country-rock that brings a bit of Texas to cities like Detroit and Cleveland.
