Louis Tomlinson 2023 Tour Announcement – Faith to the Future Tour Schedule

Louis Tomlinson has announced the “Faith to the Future tour” for spring 2023, taking the British singer to 39 cities. He’ll kick off on May 26th in Uncasville, CT, making stops in Cincinnati, OH, Milwaukee, WI, Charlotte, NC, and more before wrapping up on July 29th in New York, NY.

“Really, really excited to finally announce the North America tour,” Tomlinson wrote on Twitter. “These songs were created for these moments, and I can’t wait to share them with you!” The 30-year-old singer is celebrating his sophomore album, Faith in the Future, featuring new songs like “Bigger Than Me,” “Silver Tongues,” and “Out of My System.” It’s a very special record for Tomlinson, as it was released independently through BMG, and he had more creative control over the recording process than his 2020 debut, Walls.

“After living with this album for a while, I can’t wait for you all to hear it,” Tomlinson said in a recent interview with SiriusXM, “Thank you for allowing me to make the music I want to make. Additionally, he touched upon the live music aspect and how he’d like these songs to translate from the streaming platforms to the stage. “It’s really important to me in the live show, but also in how the tracks are produced as well,” he said, referencing his “Walls tour” that wrapped up in mid-2022. “Me and the producers were a little braver on this record. It was marginally one-dimensional on the first record where I was just thinking about guitar sounds and guitar-driven songs.”

While fans loved Walls, they can definitely see a bit more of Tomlinson’s personal musical style on Faith to the Future. He’s no longer the boy band dreamboat you loved in the 2010s or the Britpop hero you knew on his debut, but something else entirely. “Silver Tongues” has more of a pop-punk sound than Tomlinson’s previous material, while the other tracks have more of an indie rock vibe that is quite a stretch from his One Direction days.
