Leon Bridges 2021 Tour Announcement – Gold-Diggers Sound Tour Schedule
Leon Bridges is bringing his swoon-worthy songs to a city near you, announcing concert dates to support his third album, Gold-Diggers Sound. Featuring both festival slots and headlining shows, the singer will begin his trek on August 8th at the Hinterland Music Festival in Saint Charles, IA, and go on until 2022 before wrapping up on May 19th in St. Augustine, FL.
“Put on your robe, light a candle, pour a glass of wine and let yo’self innnnn to Gold-Diggers Sound,” the singer wrote on Instagram as he announced the release of his third studio album. And he’s not kidding when it comes to the soulful hits of Gold-Diggers Sound.
Singles like “Sweeter” and “Motorbike” put Bridges’s incredible voice on display, while music critics gave the record widespread acclaim. They particularly applaud his ability to transport across genres, going from the “swinging sixties” theme of his older records to the progressive R&B hits he’s releasing in 2021.
This journey through eras practically guarantees that Bridges will have millennials, Gen Z, and their parents on his upcoming tour – enjoying soulful hits that make them want to dance and sip wine simultaneously.
Gold-Diggers Sound is named for the recording studio and bar in Los Angeles, CA where Bridges recorded the album over the course of two years. And with such an important connection to the city, it makes sense that he’ll be performing at The Wiltern with Abraham Alexander in October 2021.
He’ll also be making stops in Tulsa, OK, Kansas City, MI, Cleveland, OH, Louisville, KY, and many more. Are you excited to hear Bridge’s R&B, pop, and soul hits that could easily belong in both the 1960s and the 2020s? Check the tour schedule below and get your Leon Bridges tickets today.
