Ledisi and Kem 2023 Tour Announcement – Soul II Soul Tour Schedule

Ledisi and Kem are coming to a city near you on the “Soul II Soul tour!” Joined by Musiq Soulchild, the R&B icons will kick off on February 3, 2023, in Columbia, SC, making stops in Las Vegas, NV, Memphis, TN, Milwaukee, WI, and more before concluding on May 12th in Baton Rouge, LA. 

Kem is no stranger to co-headlining treks, as you may have caught him alongside Babyface earlier this year on “The Full Circle Tour.” But this time hits differently, as he’s heading on the road with his good friend and fellow 90s R&B hero, Ledisi! It’s been over a decade since they last exclusively toured together, and fans lucky enough to see them in 2011 may recall Ledisi joining Kem onstage each night for a duet of his hit song, “If It’s Love.” Will this be a regular occurrence on the Soul II Soul tour? Only time will tell, but we certainly wouldn’t put it past these two brilliant R&B singers. 

Both artists will play a mix of both old and new tracks, and trust us when we say that they have decades worth of R&B hits to make up the setlist. Ledisi just released her ninth record, Ledisi Sings Nina, last year, featuring an assortment of Nina Simone covers that still put her distinctively soulful voice on display. As for Kem? He also has a few new tracks and tricks up his sleeve. He released an EP, Full Circle, in summer 2022 while he’s also celebrating a milestone anniversary. The multi-platinum, Grammy-winning singer, has been a vocal powerhouse for three decades, and he’s paying tribute to his entire catalog on this trek. “I can’t overestimate the significance of the 2023 Soul II Soul Tour, which is a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of my career on the Motown label,” KEM said in an interview with VIBE. 

“My debut album Kemistry was released in February 2003.
