K. Michelle 2023 Tour Announcement – I’m The Problem Tour Schedule
K.Michelle has announced the “I’m the Problem tour” for early 2023, taking the R&B singer to 19 cities. She’ll kick off these K. Michelle concerts on February 23rd in Washington, DC, making stops in Charlotte, NC, New York, NY, Nashville, TN, and more before finishing up on April 8th in Atlanta, GA.
“It’s tour time!” K. Michelle wrote on Instagram, “Now y’all know I can’t stay away from y’all!! “I’m The Problem” the tour! It’s been a journey, and I can’t way to kiss y’all face. Thank you for loving me for so long.” This trek supports her upcoming album, I’m the Problem, which K. Michelle says will be her last in the R&B genre. Coming exactly a decade after her 2013 debut, Rebellious Soul, which provided us with ten years of incredible hits, it’s definitely a bittersweet occasion. Of course, it’s safe to say that she’s going out with a bang.
In summer 2022, K. Michelle achieved her first-ever No.1 single, “Scooch,” which she says that she’s “over-the-moon grateful” for. It was a great start to what’s surely a grand chapter of her career, and we can’t wait to hear what other future hits await on her 2023 album! She’ll be playing them all on the upcoming K.Michelle tour, plus older hits like “Can’t Raise a Man,” “V.S.O.P,” “Maybe I Should Call,” and more!
“I feel like this album; I was able to give them exactly the K. Michelle that they remember and grew to love to the one now,” she says about I’m the Problem. “It shows growth, but it shows the same honesty, and it shows the topics and things that they come to me for as an artist. I have to be honest.” “I’ve been healing through this album. I have dealt with my relationship through this album,” she continued, “I have dealt with my relationship with my son through this album. I have dealt with where I want to go in my future through this album.”
While I’m the Problem will be her last R&B album, it doesn’t mean that K. Michelle is done with music altogether! In fact, she’s currently working on a country music album alongside Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus, and other big shots!
