Jodeci 2023 Tour Announcement – Summer Block Party Tour Schedule
The “Bad Boys of R&B” are coming! Jodeci has lined up dates for the “Summer Block Party tour,” and it’s a grand time to party with the 90s legends. They’ll begin on July 21st at the Cincinnati Music Festival, making 20+ stops before wrapping up on September 20th in Phoenix, AZ.

As much as you loved seeing Jodeci open for New Edition last year, this headlining trek will be even more exciting! Prepare to dance the night away to some of their greatest hits, including “Freek’n You,” “Forever My Lady,” and “Get On Up.” For some, it’s a celebration of youth that transports them back to the 1990s, even for only one night. Remember seeing Jodeci on MTV and BET throughout the entire decade? These Jodeci concerts will take that level of nostalgia and pair it with modern stage effects and dance moves. Talk about an amplified throwback!
As for the millennials and Gen Zs in the crowd? They never got to experience the peak Jodeci era but likely wish they had. And now they’ll get to live out their dreams, maybe even with the parents or friends who introduced them to 90s R&B, at these Jodeci concerts. The group, consisting of two sets of brothers, Donald and Dalvin DeGrate, and Joel and Cedric Hailey, made quite the impression when they emerged from their 18-year-hiatus in 2014. And they’re ready to reawaken your R&B dreams once again.

Of course, Jodeci is also known to incorporate hip-hop and soul into their music, and all their favorite genres are having their moment in 2023. It’s not just the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop but also a year of the best R&B tours like Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, and now Jodeci! They’ll be playing their full catalog at these shows…starting with their formation in North Carolina in 1989. Will it be difficult to relive their breakup in 1996? Sure, but they’ll make up for it with the 2010s essentials.
We’re talking about performances of tracks like “Nobody Wins” and “Every Moment” from their 2015 comeback album, The Past, the Present, the Future. They also released a new record, Stay Down We Goin’ Up, in 2020 and have hinted that some new tunes are on the horizon. We can’t wait for a setlist of R&B essentials from every decade!
