Jerry Cantrell is heading out on a solo tour in 2023, taking the Alice in Chains guitarist to many US cities. He’ll kick off on February 21st in Ventura, CA, making stops in Tucson, AZ, Beverly, MA, Denver, CO, and more before finishing up on April 1st in Tacoma, WA.

Cantrell continues to support his third solo album, 2021’s Brighten. Described as a “journey up through the darkness to light,” it’s a post-pandemic masterpiece that puts Cantrell’s guitar skills on full display. You may already know how talented he is based on decades with Alice in Chains and endless accolades, such as being called a “Riff Lord” by Metal Hammer and making No. 38 on Guitar World’s list of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time.” However, his solo work takes shredding to the next level. The Alice in Chains tour was cut short in 2020, while Cantrell had taken a 20-year hiatus since 2002’s Degradation Trip Volumes 1 & 2.
