James Taylor & Jackson Browne 2021 Tour Schedule – North American Tour Update
James Taylor is “Gone to Carolina” once again, among many other states on his upcoming tour with Jackson Browne. The two singers have announced rescheduled dates for their joint tour that takes them across the country – beginning on July 29th in Chicago, IL, and continuing through November 1st in San Diego, CA.
“We want to thank all those who have graciously held onto their tickets; we appreciate your continued patience as we navigate these unchartered waters,” Taylor and Browne said in a shared statement. “We didn’t want to have to cancel this tour that we’ve been waiting so long to perform together, so we’ve been working to get these dates rescheduled to a time period when the U.S. is reopened and safe to gather for a concert.”
As arenas begin to reopen, ticket holders are excited to see James Taylor onstage with his guitar once again. The crooner has been performing since the 1960s and inspired an entire generation of songwriters with this soothing voice and classic hits. “Carolina in My Mind” and “Sweet Baby James” come to mind, along with many other songs from his seventeen studio albums.
Taylor’s latest album, American Standard, was released in February 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic surged. While this postponed the James Taylor tour with Jackson Browne that fans were waiting for, the two singers took all the right precautions to ensure that they would return to stadiums with safety in mind.
