Billy Joel is returning to his rightful seat at Madison Square Garden. The singer has been performing extensively at the New York City arena for decades, and November 5th will mark his first appearance at Madison Square Garden in nearly two years. Six dates have been scheduled, with one Billy Joel concert taking place per month until April 2022.
There’s a reason that Billy Joel is called the “Piano Man,” and it’s not just his signature song that can be heard in every bar. In the span of his sixty-year career, Billy Joel has been on the road for nearly all of it. After the release of his 1993 album River of Dreams, he began the Face to Face tour with Elton John. These shows would continue on and off all the way up until 2010, becoming one of the most famous collaborative tours in pop music history. These days, Joel prefers not to travel, but rather take up residencies at one of his favorite venues: Madison Square Garden!
