Hoobastank 2022 Tour Announcement – 20th Anniversary Tour Schedule
Hoobastank has announced a co-headlining tour with Lit for fall 2022, taking the two SoCal bands to 17 cities. They’ll kick off on October 14th in Nashville, TN, and continue through November 8th in Cedar Park, TX.
This Hoobastank tour serves as a late 20th-anniversary celebration of their 2001 self-titled debut, which includes alternative rock hits like “Crawling in the Dark,” “Remember Me,” and “Running Away.” They’ve released five more albums in the past two decades, including 2003’s The Reason, named after their arguably most famous song, and their latest project, 2018’s Push Pull. You’ll be hearing nostalgic beats from their entire catalog, with special attention to the self-titled album that helped launch them into our hearts and the Billboard charts.
In addition to the Hoobastank tour, they’re also celebrating their first record with a YouTube docuseries! The seven episodes will air unseen footage from their time in the recording studio, including their album producer and all-new interviews to shed light on the record’s legacy. While many 90s millennials know them for “The Reason,” a song that was played literally everywhere in the early 2000s, it was actually a couple of years before that Hoobastank found their footing. And they can’t wait to share their nostalgia with fans during the docuseries and upcoming Hoobastank tour.
As for Lit, they’ve also had a lot to celebrate in recent years. Their seventh album, Tastes Like Gold, was released in summer 2022, marking their return to rock after a brief venture into country music. They’re also celebrating two album anniversaries — 21 years for 2001’s Atomic and one decade since The View From the Bottom! The rock band from Orange County, CA, has been around for over three decades and has plenty of hits to share onstage with Hoobastank.
