Hawthorne Heights 2025 Tour Announcement – If Only You Were Lonely 20th Anniversary Tour Schedule
Hawthorne Heights are serving up nostalgia and nonstop emo hits on their 20th anniversary trek. The Ohio group will begin the “If Only You Were Lonely 20th Anniversary Tour” next year, paying tribute to their sophomore album that every eyeliner-wearing teenager remembers. The 2026 Hawthorne Heights tour will begin on March 5 in Lexington, KY, visiting Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO, Portland, OR, and more before wrapping up on April 1st in Little Rock, AR.
“The best thing about looking back on the last 20 years is that you can do it without the fear of the past, but with the reverence that comes with the time that has actually passed,” says Hawthorne Heights frontman JT Woodruff. “While the fans never saw anything going on behind the scenes, If Only You Were Lonely is a true tale of triumph and tragedy that changed our lives forever. It has all the haunting hallmarks of a fairy tale and horror movie, but rolled into a tightly wound package of true life chaos.”
“During all of that chaos, we never gave up hope,” he continues. “Which is why we are happy to finally do a tour of this magnitude, to show our fans that life is an experience that will challenge every single emotion that you are capable of.” Safe to say, Hawthorne Heights stirs up emotions, and quite a few, in all who listen to them, as the band is nearly as crucial to the emo scene as My Chemical Romance or Fall Out Boy.
Angsty teenagers everywhere sang along to “Saying Sorry,” “Pens and Needles,” and “This Is Who We Are,” back in 2006, watching music videos before school and the tracks performed live at the Vans Warped Tour in the summer. And since 2025 has been the year of emo revival, with not only the return of Warped but also tours by Chiodos (which Hawthorne Heights supported,) Anberlin, and MCR, it’s safe to say that these emotions will spill over into 2026.
Especially as Woodruff and Co. prepare to play their biggest hits from two decades ago and beyond. Of course, they’ll likely play If Only You Were Lonely, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, in full. However, it also wouldn’t be a Hawthorne Heights concert without classics like like “Ohio Is For Lovers” and “Niki FM,” along with semi-new tunes off their seventh record, 2021’s The Rain Just Follows Me.
This will be a grand celebration of Hawthorne Heights and their second album, along with other hits that have made them a staple at nostalgia festivals.
