Giveon 2022 Tour Announcement – Give and Take Tour Schedule
Giveon has announced the “Give and Take a tour” for summer and fall 2022. The Grammy-nominated R&B singer will kick off the trek on August 16th in Philadelphia, PA, and make 39 stops before concluding on October 21st in Toronto, ON.
This Giveon tour supports his highly-anticipated debut album, Give or Take, which is scheduled for release in June 2022. It may be hard to believe that he’s only now putting out his first record, given his rapid rise to popularity, but Giveon has spent ages perfecting these tracks. They feature flawless renditions of his baritone vocals inspired by everybody from Frank Sinatra to Frank Ocean, including previously-released singles like “For Tonight” and “Lie Again.”
“Thank you for being patient with me,” the 27-year-old singer wrote on Instagram and Twitter upon finally announcing the release date for Give and Take. He also dropped an album trailer that has us hooked, featuring the singer looking over the city skyline and performing his heart out. At the same time, he delivers a monologue of gratitude that’s so very Giveon. “I can’t believe I’m living this dream; I can’t find the words,” he says in the album trailer. “I’m trying to get into the reality of it, but I can’t. It’s unbelievable.”
He may still feel like this is a dream, but Giveon is wide awake. And he’s dropping his debut album and a once-in-a-lifetime Giveon tour in summer 2022. Only two years ago, he gained global attention for his featured vocals on Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle,” eventually earning a Grammy nomination for his Take Time EP. Taking time is exactly what he did before dropping his first record, but we know that it will be more than worth the wait. And you can hear all these songs live for the first time on the 2022 Giveon tour. Get your tickets today!
