Giveon 2021 Tour Announcement – Timeless Tour Schedule
Giveon is about to embark on his Timeless tour, and there’s never been a better time to see the Grammy-nominated R&B singer. His trek begins on November 28th in Detroit, MI, and goes on through December 22nd in Seattle, WA.
It’s hard to believe that Giveon only released his debut single, “Garden Kisses,” in 2018, as he’s accomplished a great deal in just a few years. He’s sung with Drake and Justin Bieber, released two EPs, and been nominated for a Grammy at the young age of 26, and it all comes down to his soulful, Sinatra-style voice.
If you think Giveon’s vocals sound gorgeous on his EP’s, Take Time and When It’s All Said And Done, wait until you hear him live. He’s a baritone with a taste for jazz music from the 1960s and cites Frank Sinatra, Adele, and Frank Ocean as a few of his influences. There’s also Drake, who helped Giveon rise to prominence when the two collaborated on the 2020 hit “Chicago Freestyle.”
Drake took a break from rapping during the track as Gideon delivered soulful line delivery and dreamy vocals, and fans noticed. In the song’s YouTube comments, one fan wrote that “Giveon really sounds like that, no voice editing!” Another says that “GIVEON is SO talented, don’t sleep on him.” The song “Chicago Freestyle” was a stepping point in Giveon’s career, and now he’s ready to set out on his own tour.
While the pandemic essentially shut the world down in 2020, it was still a big year for Gideon. He released both of his EP’s, gained praise from music critics, and had the chance to plan one of his first solo tours for late 2021. You’ll get a firsthand look at his jazz-inspired stage presence and smooth vocals, and this may be your only chance to see Giveon in small-to-medium venues. Trust us; he’ll be playing arenas in no time.
