Dreamcatcher 2023 Tour Announcement – Apocalypse: From Us Tour Schedule

Need another K-Pop concert for your calendar? Dreamcatcher is coming back to the US! The girl group will visit five North American cities on the “Apocalypse: From Us Tour,” beginning on August 4th in Houston, TX. They’ll stop in Toronto, ON, Cincinnati, OH, and Nashville, TN, before wrapping up on September 13th in Orlando, FL.

This Dreamcatcher tour is named for the group’s latest EP, which was released last May. It’s the third installment in their “Apocalypse” series, following last year’s Apocalypse: Save Us and Apocalypse: Follow Us! Featuring five rock-powered tracks including “Bonvoyage,” “Demian,” and “Propose,” the record manages to deliver both catchy verses and crucial messages at the same time… in true Dreamcatcher style.

The entire “Apocalypse” series is basically one big PSA about the dangers of environmental pollution, which Dreamcatcher happily admits. You see, they differ from their fellow K-Pop groups not only for their rock and metal-driven style, but their willingness to approach darker themes. Just like their 2010s “Dystopia” projects were focused on fighting hate speech and returning to a Utopia, their 2020s series gives the planet a well-deserved spotlight accompanied by surreal verses and vocals.

“This mini album is a continuation of our last album, of how we want to save Earth from pollution and climate change,” Dreamcatcher member Jiu told Bandwagon about 2022’s Apocalypse: Save Us. “We know that it’s difficult to suddenly change our habits and actions completely in this instant to save the environment,” she continued, “And so, we talk about heading towards the same direction as one to fight against climate change.”

Dreamcatcher has been making a difference for nearly a decade now. Ever since they formed in Seoul in 2014, the seven-piece girl group has garnered attention for their alternative style, outspoken songs, and one-of-a-kind musical composition that sets them apart in the K-Pop genre. And just wait until you see them tear up the stage! It’s not every day that they come to North America, so don’t forget to grab your tickets for the following dates.
