The second annual Cruel World Fest is happening in spring 2023! Are you ready to have a blast with your favorite 80s rockstars? Happening on May 14th in Pasadena, CA, this event will feature performances from Iggy Pop, Billy Idol, Adam Ant, Echo & the Bunnyman, and more. Siouxsie will also play together for the first time in 15 years, so you know that Cruel World Festival will be all kinds of epic!

After being postponed for a couple of years due to the pandemic, the inaugural Cruel World Festival finally happened last year. And to say that it was a success would be a massive understatement. Fans sang along to Morrissey, Blondie, Violent Femmes, Psychedelic Furs and so much more, and this year’s lineup will be even more insane. Composed primarily of 80s new wave and hard rock artists, you’ll be transported back to another point in time… no matter what generation you’re from. Are you a Gen X-er hoping to revisit your teenage years, a Gen Z-er who simply wishes they were around to experience this or anything in between? People of all ages and musical tastes are welcome at the Cruel World Festival, which is destined to be a musical highlight of 2023.
Iggy Pop will have an easy excuse to take his shirt off onstage as usual, singing his greatest hits like “The Passenger” and “Real Wild Child” under the SoCal sun. And then there’s the much-anticipated Siouxsie reunion, who haven’t played together since 2008 and can’t wait to reunite in front of hundreds of 80s rock fans. Gary Numan, Urban Heat, Modern English, and more will also show up for the crowds, with some of them performing for the first time in ages! Essentially, there are plenty of opportunities for the artists to make history at the Cruel World Festival, and we’re choosing to think that the second time’s the charm!
