moe. and Umphreys McGee 2026 Tour Announcement – moe.mentUM Tour Schedule
moe. and Umphreys McGee have announced the “moe.mentUM Tour,” a co-headlining run that takes the improvisational heavyweights across North America this summer. They’ll begin on June 11th in Harrisburg, PA, continuing through August 14th in Cleveland, OH.
Phish or Dave Matthews Band may be the first names that come to mind when you hear “jam band,” but the two on this tour are some of the most underrated improv heroes around. Both separately and together. You’ve got to understand, moe. and Umphreys McGee have crossed paths for decades, often sharing festival bills and late-night collaborations.
This includes a deep history with the Summer Camp Music Festival, where moe. and Umphrey’s McGee spent years as host bands and frequently popped up during each other’s sets. Is there potential for the two groups to join each other in 2026 for a joint performance of “Can’t Rock My Dream Face” or “Rebubula”? Absolutely. And you won’t witness the ultimate jam band mashup without verified resale tickets.
For Umphrey’s McGee, the road has always been where their music expands the most. The Chicago-based band built its reputation on long-form live sets that shift between progressive rock, funk, metal, and jazz without warning. Guitarists Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger often trade leads while the rhythm section locks into grooves that can stretch far beyond the original song structure…and their musically ambitious side is what keeps us coming back, tour after tour.
moe. on the other hand? They bring a unique but equally recognizable approach to the stage. Formed in Buffalo in the late 1980s, the band leans more toward melodic guitar interplay and roots-influenced rock, with songs that often evolve gradually rather than exploding outward. Guitarists Chuck Garvey and Al Schnier guide many of those moments, building layered jams that move from relaxed grooves into brighter, more rhythmic passages as the set unfolds.
Do you see why this pairing just makes sense for jam band lovers? The moe.mentUM Tour will bring just that, momentum, and you’ll leave as an even bigger fan of both moe. and Umphreys McGee at your local show. Get tickets now for the following dates!
