Courtney Barnett 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Courtney Barnett is all set for an intimate but exciting new tour! Supporting her new instrumental album, the singer will begin on October 11th in Brattleboro, VT. She’ll make seven stops before concluding on November 4th in Los Angeles, CA.

Barnett’s fourth and latest album, End of the Day (Music from the film Anonymous Club), is due for release on September 15th, and she has no shame in hyping it up.  The 35-year-old singer describes the project as “an instrumental album comprised of 17 improvisations in collaboration with Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint).”

She also adds that these pieces were “originally composed as part of the score to the documentary by Danny Cohen (2022’s Anonymous Club) and later re-worked to make a more cohesive album.” It’s no secret that movies and music go together effortlessly, and Barnett intends to deliver a 360-work of art with her latest record.

It’s been almost two years since her last album, 2021’s Things Take Time, Take Time, and we can’t wait to see what she’s been cooking up!  Courtney Barnett has already released three singles, “Start Somewhere,” “Life Balance,” and “First Slow,” with are dripping with delightful ambiance and free-flowing energy. Trust us, they’re part of an indie rock masterpiece in the making…we can feel it.

Sure, the instrumental aspect is something that’s new for Barnett…as her beautiful, expertly-made-for-indie-rock voice is essential to her craft! But she’s shown that she’s a natural with these newly styled songs…which you’ll want to sway along to (instead of sing) at her upcoming shows. Don’t worry, she’ll still play the classics like “Over Everything,” “Avant Gardener,” and “History Eraser,” but this trek also marks a new era for the singer.
