Bush are embarking on their sweetest tour yet in 2026 — aptly called the “Land of Milk and Honey Tour.” Supported by Mammoth and James and the Cold Gun, they’ll kick off on April 7th in Pittsburgh, PA, continuing through May 16th in Columbus, OH.
The 2026 Bush tour arrives just in time to celebrate their tenth album, I Beat Loneliness, released last summer. It’s not “Glycerine,” the iconic 90s anthem, and that’s exactly what makes this alt-rock record so magical. New singles like “60 Ways to Forget People” and “The Land of Milk and Honey” show that the grunge favorites are still in their prime — not only bringing a tougher edge, but also balancing punchy guitar work with lyrics that feel controlled instead of chaotic.
“I think it’s a snapshot of my life,” Bush frontman Gavin Rossale said about the new album, which follows up 2022’s The Art of Survival. “When I first made records, there was no horizon — the road felt infinite. As you get older, you start to see the lay of the land, and that changes how you write. I try to make sure there’s a reason to write, to improve the silence. I went inside musically and lyrically, questioned whether I was being clear enough, and tried to get down to the most basic parts of people.”
Indeed, a lot has changed since their 1994 debut, Sixteen Stone, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024. Bush have gone heavier with their music — both through grittier choruses and deeper lyrics about the chronicles of life — as their sound has shifted from grunge to alt-rock to a little metal and more. And now, it all comes together beautifully with the I Beat Loneliness, which is as empowering as it sounds.
