Brantley Gilbert and Five Finger Death Punch 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Get ready for a country-metal mashup unlike any other! Brantley Gilbert and Five Finger Death Punch are touring together in fall 2022, and it’s going to be a heel-kicking, hard-rock spectacle that you can’t miss. They’ll kick off the trek on November 9th in Grand Rapids, MI, and continue for 22 dates through December 17th in Las Vegas, NV.
We know what you may be thinking. Isn’t this a strange combination for a co-headlining tour? However, the answer is not really, as country-rock singer Gilbert and heavy metal heroes Five Finger Death Punch go way back. They released a song together, a cover of Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s “Blue on Black,” in 2019, while Gilbert has been vocal about his avid love for heavier tunes. He’s just a little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll in the best way, and fans of both genres will have the best time on this trek.
If square dancing during one song and hardcore dancing during the next one is wrong, we don’t want to be right… and neither do fans of Gilbert and Five Finger Death Punch. Both artists have a lot to celebrate in fall 2022, and we know that these shows will be epic. The metal band just released their ninth album, AfterLife, in August 2022, which includes singles like “IOU,” “Welcome to the Circus,” and “Times Like These.”
“Afterlife was hands down my favorite record to make,” says Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory. “It is our ninth album so, at this point, we have legions of loyal fans, and our signature sound is more than established.” He continued saying their music “became its own island, our ground zero we operate from, and we can always come back to.” This is excellent news for their fans, both old and new! Meanwhile, Gilbert is giving fans a taste of his best country-rock singles, like “Bottoms Up,” “The Weekend,” and “One Hell of an Amen.” While he hasn’t released a new album since 2019’s Fire & Brimstone, he has a decade worth of hits to let fans kick up their heels… and it’s going to be a killer night for fans of both rock and country.
