Blackberry Smoke 2022 Tour Announcement – The Whippoorwill 10th Anniversary Tour Schedule
Blackberry Smoke has announced its “The Whippoorwill 10th Anniversary tour” for fall 2022, celebrating one decade of their third album. The Southern rock outfit will kick off on October 7th in Cleveland, OH, and make stops in Austin, TX, Rockford, IL, Boston, MA, and more before concluding on December 17th in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
“Brother and sisters, it’s been ten years since we released The Whippoorwill!” the band wrote on the Blackberry Smoke Instagram, “There’s no better way to celebrate than with a tour.” Lead singer Charlie Starr seconded this statement with some sentimental words of his own. “It’s almost impossible to believe that The Whippoorwill is ten years old,” he said, “I think we are as proud of it today as we were the day it was released.”
It was a game-changing record for Blackberry Smoke, containing singles like “Pretty Little Lie” and “Ain’t Much Left of Me” that have become a regular part of their performances.
