Bikini Kill 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Bikini Kill is ready to bring the riot grrrl movement to your city! Beginning on August 15th in Los Angeles, the punk rock trio will tour the country with their fiery lyrics and revolutionary feminism. They’ll stop in cities like San Francisco, CA, Milwaukee, WI, Portland, ME, and more before wrapping up on September 11th in Baltimore, MD.
The band, consisting of Kathleen Hanna, Tobi Vail, and Kathi Wilcox, has been a formidable presence in the punk scene since their formation in the early ’90s. Advocating for female empowerment and social change through their music, it’s nearly impossible to hear the best Bikini Kill songs without pumping your fists and letting out a cry for hope. In fact, fans have been doing just that to the sounds of “Rebel Girl,” “Feels Blind,” “New Radio,” and “Double Dare Ya” since Bikini Kill reunited five years ago.
The band made headlines when they reunited in 2019 after a 22-year hiatus, garnering praise from music publications and fellow artists worldwide. Why was it such a pleasant, yet shocking, event? Because simply put, Bikini Kill is a seriously big deal. They’ve made waves in and out of the music world with their rule-breaking ways, powerful stage presence, and refreshing philanthropy. And all of these things have been alive and well as they’ve toured the world throughout the 2020s.
Most recently, Hanna and her bandmates put on a benefit concert for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, raising money and signing an open letter with other musicians calling for a cease-fire in Gaza.
