Alanis Morissette 2026 Residency Announcement – Butterfly With a Machete Residency Schedule

Alanis Morissette has several 2026 shows planned, but her Los Angeles dates are doing the heavy lifting — emotionally and otherwise. The seven-time Grammy winner will bring Butterfly with a Machete to YouTube Theater in Inglewood for four nights on November 5, 6, 10, and 11, continuing the sold-out Las Vegas residency she debuted in fall 2025. She’ll also appear at Riot Fest in Chicago, along with additional dates in Mount Pleasant, MI, and Uncasville, CT.

Calling Butterfly with a Machete a concert, or even a performance, feels a little too simplistic. Plenty of artists revisit their defining eras, but Morissette isn’t just yailing about past nostalgia and calling it a night. She’s pulling apart the story behind the songs, the fame that followed them, and the emotional cost of turning private pain into public anthems. She’s at a point in her career where she has nothing to hide anymore, and this is a love letter to not only her former self, but also the fans that made her.
