A Day to Remember 2022 Tour Announcement – Reassembled: Acoustic Theater Tour Schedule
A Day to Remember has announced the “Reassembled: Acoustic Theater Tour,” which takes the metalcore heroes to 16 cities for a series of acoustic shows. Joined by Wage War, they’ll kick off on November 28th in North Charleston, SC, with stops in Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Cincinnati, OH, and more before concluding on December 19th in Orlando, FL.
A Day to Remember is currently on its “Just Some Shows tour,” in which they play the best post-hardcore hits like “The Downfall Of Us All,” “Lance Chance to Dance,” and “All I Want.” The group is known for its energy-packed concerts, with surfing crowd surfers (look it up,) nonstop mosh pits, and all the confetti you could want. We love that for you. However, even rock stars sometimes slow things down, and that’s exactly what this A Day to Remember tour is for. They’ll strip down their greatest hits for a mellow and magical night, letting fans bring out their lighters and cell phones to sway and sing along.
A few slower songs come to mind for this acoustic tour, such as “I’m Already Gone and “If It Means A Lot to You,” but we still want to see what else is on the setlist! Can they turn an epic screamo number into a stripped-down, acoustic rendition that racks up millions of views on YouTube? It definitely wouldn’t be the first time that A Day to Remember has done it, and we can’t wait to see them play a few tricks with their favorite tunes. They’re returning to their hardcore roots at the epic emo fest, When We Were Young, in October 2022, but then it’s time to go unplugged and acoustic on the “Reassembled Tour.” Honestly, we can’t even decide what we’re more excited about.
A Day to Remember is continuing to celebrate its seventh album, You’re Welcome, which was released in March 2021 after five years of anticipation. Fans had to wait a while for a follow-up to 2016’s Bad Vibrations, but the metalcore troops didn’t disappoint. A Day to Remember delivered all the poppy choruses and intense breakdowns that you’ve become accustomed to over nearly two decades while trading their formerly moany lyrics for more mature themes. We’re ultra-excited to hear the acoustic renditions of “Mindreader,” “Brick Wall,” “Everything We Need,” and more for the first time, and you can’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the metalcore heroes take things down a notch.
