Queens of the Stone Age 2027 Tour Announcement – Perfecth Tour Schedule
Queens of the Stone Age have never done anything by the book, and their latest album title is no exception. The rock veterans are taking Perfecth across the U.S. in 2027, beginning May 1 at Viejas Arena in San Diego. The 16-date run will hit Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Red Rocks, Milwaukee, Chicago and more before wrapping May 24 at TD Garden in Boston. Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp will join as support.
Perfecth, the band’s ninth studio album and first since 2023’s In Times New Roman…, comes out Oct. 30. And while three years between albums generally isn’t the biggest deal, Queens of the Stone Age have lived a million lifetimes since. Frontman Josh Homme has lived through cancer, substance abuse and a sense of self-doubt that creeped up a full three decades after the band’s formation. But unsurprisingly, he came out the other side even stronger with some insane songs to show for it.
It starts with Perfecth and the intentionally incorrect spelling. According to Homme, “Nothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be ‘perfecth.’” That slightly crooked philosophy runs through the nine-song record, which was produced by Homme and bassist Michael Shuman and inspired partly by kintsugi, the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery in a way that makes the cracks part of the art.
Fans have already heard “Easy Street,” “Insignificant Other” and “Where the Goth Girls At?,” with the final track earning its live debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon just days before the tour announcement. And the cheeky title is very intentional. Homme traced the song back to growing up around Palm Desert and watching goth girls work at the mall, which apparently left enough of an impression to inspire a song decades later.
New tracks like “Phantom Limb,” “Run Away From the Mob” and “It’s Only Love” will also steal the spotlight on the 2027 Queens of the Stone Age tour — adding to the desert-rock catalog that’s kept us going since the 1990s. Queens of the Stone Age have earned eight Grammy nominations across their career, while …Like Clockwork debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2013.
