Brett Young 2024 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

Brett Young is coming back to town! The country-pop icon is kicking off a lengthy tour this fall, beginning on September 6th in Verona, NY. He’ll stop in New Orleans, LA, New York, NY, Detroit, MI, and more before finishing up on October 26th in Durham, NC.

The coolest thing about this country boy? He technically isn’t one at all. Unlike most of his peers who grew up in the South, Brett Young is a born-and-bred California kid. And he only took up singing and songwriting after an injury forced him to pivot from his career path as a baseball player. That being said, we’re very glad he did, as the 43-year-old has put out one country-pop bop after another since the mid-2000s.

You may know a few, like “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Mercy,” and “Like I Loved You.” Additionally, he just put out his fourth album, Across the Sheets, last year, which contains eight brand new tracks. Each one more catchy than the last. “Dance With You” is a sweet tribute to Young’s wife and children, with a charismatic music video that will have you weeping.

Meanwhile, he also released a cover of “Don’t Take the Girl,” a Tim McGraw staple that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Young put his own twist on the track while also doing justice to the original, and it was the ultimate passing of the torch (or rather, country hat) that we can’t wait to hear on tour. Is Brett Young the next Tim McGraw? Maybe, and maybe not…but his growing reputation in the genre is ultra-impressive.
