YG 2024 Tour Announcement – Just Re’d Up Tour Schedule
YG has announced the “Just Re’d Up tour” for this summer, which supports his seventh album of the same name due on July 3rd. Joined by Doe Boy, he’ll begin on June 28th in Los Angeles, CA, continuing through August 17th in Kapolei, HI.
Just Re’d Up 3 is the third installment in YG’s album series, following its 2010s predecessors with even more West Coast rap. We’ve already heard one single, “Knocka,” which takes the rapper (born Keenon Jackson) right back to his Compton hometown. The music video (which has 1.6 million views and counting) is filled with expensive cars, beautiful women, and enough pyrotechnics to rival even the world’s biggest rock bands. And it’s perfectly YG.
There’s also “SHAKE,” an equally provocative beach trip with enough baddies and sick beats to last a lifetime. YG is in his jaw-dropping era, yet again, and we’re all about it. What else can we expect from the release of Just Re’d Up 3 next month? More star-studded special effects and guest vocalists, if history is to repeat itself. Who can forget his biggest hits like “Who Do You Love?” with Drake and “Big Bank” with the likes of 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj?
At the same time, his last album, 2022’s I Got Issues, was a modern success for the rap genre that we haven’t forgotten. Tracks like “Scared Money” and “Toxic” expertly displayed his smooth flows and fresh takes on the West Coast life. And trust us, there’s plenty more where that came from. YG is one of the most respected hip-hop heroes to come out of Compton, and that’s saying a lot. It’s the same city that produced Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and The Game, just to name a few!
