Yungblud 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Yungblud has announced a 2023 world tour in support of his self-titled third album! These Yungblud concerts kick off on April 28th in Seattle, WA, making stops in 29 cities before concluding on July 25th in Kansas City, MO.
A lucky few have already seen a Yungblud mini tour in Los Angeles. He recently performed at three intimate Los Angeles venues in one night before heading to Jimmy Kimmel Live! as the musical guest! The bad news is that it’s going to be a while before you see a Yungblud concert in a small venue like the Whiskey A Go-Go, The Roxy, or Viper Room, as he’s getting more famous every day. The good news? The alt-rock beats on his all-new album are ultra-catchy and made for larger arena stages, with Rolling Stone calling them “hard-candy rockers perfect for arena singalongs and TikTok soundtracks.”
Often known as an “anti-pop star,” Yungblud is a force to be reckoned with. He runs in the crowd of pop-punk heroes like Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker, but there’s so much more to the 25-year-old artist than meets the eye. He represents the 2022 emo revival for the Gen Z crowd, while also infusing elements of hip hop into his pop-punk and alt-rock beats. He certainly made a statement with his first two albums, 2018’s 21st Century Liability and 2020’s Weird!, featuring singles like “California,” “Medication,” “Cotton Candy,” and “Acting Like That.” However, his self-titled debut is going to mark an entirely new era for the British singer, and he can’t wait to share these new songs with you on the road.
“Everything up to this moment has been a complete explosion of uncensored expression, where I just told the truth and sang about what I felt in that exact moment,” Yungblud, born Dominic Harrison, wrote on Instagram about his new self-titled album. “The difference here is that I have thought and felt this record so deeply. I went to a part of myself that I didn’t know was there,” he continued, “I studied it, I bathed in the emotion, tried to solve the equation and came up with an answer from love to pain, adoration to abandonment, laughter to betrayal.”
“My message is the same, it will always be; I will continue to be nothing but myself and encourage others to do the same,” Yungblud wrote adoringly, “I hope it provides my beautiful family who have followed me throughout this journey answers about themselves but also questions and challenges, but most importantly I hope it fills them with love.” This record fills us with love, certainly, along with a certain level of angst, hopefulness, understanding and more complex emotions invoked by Yungblud.
