Anthony Green 2022 Tour Announcement – Carousel Tour Schedule
Anthony Green, Laura Jane Grace, and Tim Kasher will hit the road together in spring 2022 for the Carousel tour, a captivating experience that combines all types of rock fans. See the three musicians beginning May 1st in Minneapolis, MN, with the tour wrapping through the country before ending on the 31st in Denver, CO.
“We wanted to do something different with the ‘Carousel’ tour, something more collaborative than your usual show,” Laura Jane Grace explains. “So while each of us will have our own set times, these aren’t solo sets. We’ve challenged each other to blur the lines and join in on each other’s songs and bring other players onto the stage with us each night.”
“We don’t want any show on the tour to feel routine or the same as the night before,” she continued. “We’re trying to lean into the unpredictability of these current times while manifesting inspiration and unhinged joy.” Can you imagine Laura Jane Lee’s punk rock roots (she founded Against Me!) combined with Circa Survive singer Anthony Green’s sky-high vocals or Cursive frontman Tim Kasher’s post-hardcore classics? We’re here for it… and can’t wait to see these three rock heroes tear up the stage together.
Green, Grace, and Kasher are taking a break from their respective bands to put their solo material on display, and it’s going to be a night of fresh hits and good friends. Despite the men coming from a more emo-alt rock background while Grace is the ultimate punk queen… they’re coming together beautifully for a collaborative rock show like you’ve never seen before.
Perhaps Green will lend his airy falsetto to an Against Me! song, which we’d love to see, or Kasher will jump in with his own alt-rock rendition. Green has known the Cursive frontman since their days as 2000s touring rock icons, and even covered Kasher’s classic song “Driftwood: A Fairy Tale” in late 2020. Will they join together on stage for a duet that gives millennials a flashback to the Warped tour main stage? Only time will tell, and that’s exactly why you need tickets to the Carousel tour.
