Above and Beyond 2021 Tour Announcement – Ajunafamily Reunion Tour Schedule
Above and Beyond have recently begun their Ajunafamily Reunion tour, and we can’t wait to see the English EDM trio! Performances began on September 18th in Chicago, IL, and continues through November 26th in Washington, DC.
The Ajunafamily tour is named for the group’s joint record label, Anjunabeats, and came to be upon realizing their fan’s demand for live music. Above and Beyond initially planned to perform only one show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, and added a second night after it sold out in just minutes! A few requests on Instagram later…the band planned a nine-date trek that visits some of your favorite cities!
How did the trio – composed of Jono Grant, Tony McGuiness, and Paavo Siljamaki – gain the most loyal fanbase who couldn’t wait to see them perform post-pandemic? It’s simple; they’re overachievers.
Above and Beyond has released three trance albums that have earned them a spot on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 list every single year since 2004, along with the formation of Anjunabeats and their weekly radio show called Group Therapy Radio. Although the EDM heroes were unable to perform in 2020, these activities and more helped them stay busy during the pandemic!
Speaking of quarantine, you may or may not have practiced mindfulness throughout 2020 with Above and Beyond’s meditative album, Flow State. It was a bit of a breather (literally) from their traditional trance hits, showing their range and appreciation for all types of music! That being said, you can expect to dance a bit more than do yoga on the Ajunafamily Reunion tour.
