Eric Church 2025 Tour Announcement – Free the Machine Tour Schedule
Eric Church is on the move in 2025! The country music crooner has just announced his “Free the Machine” arena tour, beginning on September 12th in Pittsburgh, PA, and continuing through November 15th in Los Angeles, CA. The trek will be joined by special guests Elle King, Marcus King Band, and Charles Wesley Godwin on select dates.
In a video sent directly to his “Church Choir” fan club members, the country music heavyweight expressed a heartfelt message about these shows. “From front to back, these shows will be different than anything you’ve ever seen or heard from us before,” he said. “I cannot wait to see you on the road for this tour.” The feeling is mutual for his beloved fans, many of whom have stood by Church since his 2006 debut, Sinners Like Me.
But this Eric Church tour? It will be a celebration of his brand-new album, Evangeline vs. the Machine, which marks his first full-length release in over four years. Featuring singles like “Hands of Time,” a feel-good anthem that puts Church’s North Carolina twang front and center, this is clearly a release with soul. No fluff, no overhyping, no Hollywood pizzazz…just straight country boy tunes that come from the heart.
“In the day we live in now, with all the social media… you can release a song on Tuesday, another song on Friday, another song on Tuesday,” explained Church in a recent appearance. “I’m an album artist, always have been, and I think we’ve gotten away from that now. The ‘machine’ is consumption; the ‘machine’ is the world we live in – and the interesting thing about ‘Evangeline’ is it’s kind of creativity versus the machine, and ‘Evangeline’ represents that creativity.”
Creativity is something that Church has delivered in droves for nearly two decades, with people falling head over cowboy boots for tunes like “Drink In My Hand,” “Hell of a View,” “Sprinsteen” and “Record Year.” And despite taking a hiatus from making music since 2021’s Heart & Soul, only emerging as a guest vocalist on Morgan Wallen’s recent album, he’s now back and better than ever.
This Eric Church tour isn’t his only plan for the year, he’s also set to perform at the 2025 ACM Awards! There’s a reason why Church has been named the CMA Entertainer of the Year, sold millions of albums, and been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry…he’s really freaking talented. And you’ll see it firsthand on this Eric Church tour. Get your tickets now for the following dates!
