Zac Brown Band 2021 Tour Announement – The Comeback Tour Schedule
Zac Brown Band is ready for The Comeback Tour, a 23-date expedition that lets the group play their country-rock hits to a crowd for the first time in over a year. The tour begins in Holmdel, NJ on August 5th, with stops in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Jacksonville, and Raleigh before wrapping up in Nashville on October 17th.
Like many other groups, Zac Brown Band was scheduled to tour in 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic surged causing the world shut down. It was a bit of an adjustment for the 8-piece country-rock group, who have been touring for nearly two decades. But diehard fans knew that they would be back soon, as Zac Brown Band belongs onstage.
The rescheduled Zac Brown Band tour, also known as The Comeback Tour, was announced in May 2021 with a statement of hope. “We couldn’t be more excited to get back out on the road and share our new music with our fans,” says Zac Brown. “It’s been a long, difficult year for everyone and we’re fired up to reunite with our crew, get back on tour, and celebrate a brand new world.”
Wait, new music? Believe it! Zac Brown Band is due to release their seventh studio album in the not-so-distant future, and they’ve already given fans a sneak peek. They released the track “Same Boat” in June 2021, an upbeat track that Zac Brown says is “about the human condition,” and “reminds people to be good to each other.” It’s certainly a positive message for our new, post-pandemic world… and you can easily practice this by dancing with others in the crowd at a Zac Brown Band concert!
Zac Brown Band is the definition of “a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll,” effortlessly blending the two genres to critical acclaim.
