Jason Aldean is heading across the country on his Back in the Saddle tour, and it’s going to be a string of shows to remember. The country superstar will be visiting 35 cities alongside special guests Lainey Wilson and Hardy, with dates beginning on August 5th in Virginia Beach and continuing through October 30th.
Aldean’s ironically-titled “We Back” tour was supposed to take place in 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic surged. With dates postponed and the future of live music unclear, the country singer spent the year of 2020 with his family, with the occasional work session on his still-unreleased tenth studio album. While Aldean has stated that he enjoyed the time at home with his children, he’s very excited to get back on the road again. Or shall we say, Back in the Saddle.
“It’s been emotional being back on stage with my band for the first time in a year this weekend,” Aldean said in a statement after a two-night stint in Manchester, TN in May 2021. “It’s made us all even more ready to get back to life as we all know it. Being on the road makes all of us — the band, the crew and me — happy and I haven’t felt this excited about going on tour in 15 years.”
Indeed, Jason Aldean has been one of country music’s biggest names for over two decades – with 22 number one singles, dozens of headlining festival slots, and nine studio albums under his belt.
