The farewell Wisin y Yandel tour is coming up soon, and the reggaeton giants are going out with a bang. The La Última Misión tour kicks off September 30th in Miami, FL, and continues for two months before wrapping up on November 26th in Los Angeles, CA.
After roughly 23 years together, including a five-year hiatus beginning in 2013, Wisin y Yandel have decided to go their separate ways. It’s a bittersweet ending to a beautiful career for Juan Luis Morera Luna (Wisin) and Llandel Veguilla Malave Salazar (Yandel), which concludes with one of the biggest Wisin & Yandel tours yet. La Ultima Misión is named for their as-yet-unreleased 2022 album of the same name, translating to “the last mission.”
While the farewell Wisin y Yandel tour will include new tracks from this release, it’s also a celebration of the old-school reggaeton hits that made them famous. These include “Rakata,” “Sexy Movimiento,” “Pam Pam,” and more, many of which have made their way onto the best 90s and 2000s Spotify playlists.
