Where to See Rise Against in Concert in 2021

The Chicago-bred band just completed their Nowhere Generation tour with Descendants and Spanish Love Songs, from July 30th through August 28th. In the months since, they’ve played huge music festivals like Summerfest, Blue Ridge Rock Festival, Riot Fest 2021, and more! After a year and a half away from the stage, Rise Against was more than ready to perform again… and show no signs of slowing down.
Rise Against became a model for how to tour in a post-pandemic world. Even with the rise of the delta variant, the band took every precaution to keep fans and bands safe – including mostly outdoor venues and a wholly vaccinated crew. This resulted in absolutely zero cases of COVID-19 and only one cancellation!
Tour attendees had a blast hearing all the new tracks from Nowhere Generation, the ninth Rise Against album released in June 2021. Singles like “Broken Dreams, Inc.,” “The Numbers,” and “Talking to Ourselves” are symbolic of the band’s mission over their two-decade career – which is to shed light on the world’s inequalities through powerful lyrics and punk rock melodies.
Rise Against has never been shy about sharing its political beliefs through music. This is apparent in Nowhere Generation – which tackles the morality of the economy and struggles of today’s youth, among other things. Critics noticed these themes and applauded the band for their resilience and influence over the last twenty-two years.
