Where to See Hank Williams Jr. in 2021 and 2022

Hank Williams Jr. has two concerts set for next month, plus another in July 2022! You can catch the iconic country singer on November 4th in Catoosa, OK, and the following night in Tupelo, MS.

Williams Jr. has dipped his toes back into performing with a handful of summer 2021 concerts, and we can only hope that a full-length tour is in the works! His outlaw country hits and blunt stage demeanor have made him just as famous as his father, the late honky-tonk hero Hank Williams, and you’ll love seeing the younger singer bring decades worth of songs to life on stage.

What hits are we referring to? “A Country Boy Can Survive,” “Family Tradition,” “All My Rowdy Friends,” and many more from Williams Jr.’s career that’s lasted nearly six decades. With a whopping 56 studio albums and 109 singles, the setlist is destined to be broad and blazing at any Hank Williams Jr. concert.

On occasion, he’ll also perform a cover of tracks by Johnny Cash or his late and great father. Williams Jr. has been open regarding his feelings about current artists and the state of country music… and in case fans have forgotten, he’s sure to remind them from the stage.

“The crowd loved hearing Williams tell it like it is. Hank Jr. shredded on guitar with the intensity of someone fed up with the country music posers that have cropped up of late,” says The Music Universe in their 2021 review of a Hank Williams Jr. concert in Virginia.

The publication continued, “Before “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming over Tonight,’ Junior told the crowd plainly: ‘Thirty-two years, three Emmy awards, eight Super Bowls, and I’m the one that wrote the f**king song!’” This was in reference to one of Williams Jr.’s most popular tracks being used as the NFL theme for many years – and he wants the proper credits for this sports anthem!

He re-recorded the song back in 2017 with Florida Georgia Line and Jason Derulo, showing that Williams Jr. still makes friends in the music industry between all the teasing. His personality is as much an instrument as his skills on the guitar, fiddle, and piano, and you can’t miss the chance to see this musical prodigy in person.
