Chris Young is coming to a city near you! The country singer has eight upcoming performances, kicking off August 13th in Grantville, PA, and making stops in Battle Creek, MI, Lima, OH, Durant, OK, and more before ending on November 12th in Laughlin, NV.
These Chris Young concerts continue to support his latest album, 2021’s Famous Friends. Featuring catchy singles like “Raised on Country,” “Drowning,” “At the End of a Bar,” and the titular track with guest vocals by Kane Brown, it’s been a big year for the Tennessee-born singer. The album reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the US Top Country Albums chart, while he’s been able to perform these songs across the US with his famous friends (pun intended) in tow.
“Touring this summer and playing fairs and festivals is fantastic, and I’ve loved every minute of it,” Young said when he first announced the “Famous Friends tour” last year, “But being able to announce your own tour is different. People were waiting for that.” “There really is nothing other than people gathering and hearing music at a concert,” he continued, “There’s no way to replicate that. You can’t replicate it online. It’s just another animal entirely.”
Young is eternally grateful for the chance to perform again and has been documenting his trips across the US on Instagram. Sometimes he gets emotional over performing his classic songs, like “Who Am I With You,” “Aw Naw,” and “Tomorrow,” on a much bigger stage. Other times, he brings his dog, Porter, up to sing or bark along to his biggest choruses.
