Trey Anastasio and Goose 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Trey Anastasio and Goose are set for a joint tour in fall 2022, taking the iconic musicians to 8 cities. They’ll kick off on November 9th in Portland, ME, and continue through the 19th in Reading, PA.
Both artists are embarking on their own tours in 2022, but couldn’t resist the chance to perform together as longtime friends and jam band royalty. You know what that means… a unique setlist and a wholly revised concert every night. Anastasio has four decades worth of hits to make up the night, both from his solo band and his time with Phish, while Goose brings a modern approach to classic jam band techniques. While they’ve only been around since 2014, they’ve more than earned the right to join Anastasio onstage. Goose is excited to play hits from their all-new album, Dripfield, plus other essential songs like “Synrise” and “Call Me.”

On Instagram, Anastasio wrote that fans can “expect a full set from each band along with unique collaborations.” While we know this is open to interpretation, we also can’t shake the hope that Goose’s Rick Mitarotonda will join Anastasio onstage to cover a Phish favorite. “Sample in a Jar,” “Down with Disease,” or “Chalkdust Torture,” perhaps? You know you’ve made it when you get to play with your idols, and this trek will be a dream come true for both artists and their longtime fans.

Goose isn’t the only group with new music to debut, as Anastasio released his twelfth solo album and first acoustic album, mercy, in March 2022. These new tracks were written during the pandemic and center on maintaining hope and positivity. While we’ve come out on the other side of such a tumultuous time, he’s still excited to share them with fans, old and new. Anastasio’s supporters have seen him through multiple decades, bands, artistic directions, and more… and now the road warrior is ready to give them the fantastic show they deserve.
