Train 2022 Tour Announcement – AM Gold Tour Schedule
Train has announced the AM Gold tour for summer 2022, making 35 stops around the country. The band will begin performing their pop-rock hits on June 8th in Mansfield, MA, and continue through August 6th at Morrison, CO.
“2022 is the year of the Tiger,” Train frontman Pat Monahan said in a statement. “It has begun in a strong, beautiful, and encouraging way and it’s only the beginning. The 2022 Summer AM Gold tour will be all those things and more, as we are joined by our dear friends Jewel and Blues Traveler! What a ride! We can’t wait to see you all out there, dancing and singing along to their amazing music as well as our new album AM Gold. Is it June yet? See you then! Love and miss you all!”
AM Gold marks the first Train album of original material in five years, and fans can’t wait to hear the follow-up to 2017’s A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat. They released the titular single in February 2022, which provided Train’s signature feel-good vibes over the most precise pop-rock beats. If you thought you loved singing along to “Hey Soul Sister” all through the 2010s, wait until you hear the upbeat new songs that hit differently after the past two years.
“Writing songs for two and a half years in front of video screens instead of being in the presence of other humans has been a long, strange trip. And now here we are,” Monahan says. “It has to start with love. Love that goes into work comes out of work. We love this song, this album, and our fans. Thank you for waiting so long for us.
