Slash 2022 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Slash just kicked off a 2022 tour alongside Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, his frequent collaborators and longtime friends. Celebrating the new collaborative album, 4, the legendary guitarist will hit cities like Boston, MA, Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL, and more before wrapping on March 26th in Orlando, FL.
4 was released in February 2022, the fourth collaborative album between Slash and Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and the fifth overall solo effort from the Guns N Roses guitarist. While it was recorded in Nashville, TN, alongside country producer Dave Cobb, the record stays true to its rock and roll roots.
Just one listen to new songs like “The River is Rising,” “Actions Speak Louder than Words,” and “Call Off the Dogs,” will leave you thirsting for more of Slash’s iconic guitar solos and Kennedy’s unique brand of Seattle rock. And that’s exactly what you’ll get on the 2022 Slash tour. This year marks one decade since they released their first joint record, 2012’s Apocalyptic Love, and you can expect the ultimate grunge-meets-glam metal celebration.
Slash is the ringleader of many different rock and roll projects.. These range from his main gig as Guns N’ Roses guitarist that made him a household name and took him on one of the biggest rock tours of 2021, to stints with Velvet Revolver and Slash’s Snakepit. But his time with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators is one that’s dear to his heart, and you can expect an energetic live show. Even at 56 years old, his passion for touring and shredding is more prominent than ever.
“I’m a road guy,” Slash, born Saul Hudson, said in a 2022 interview with CBC Radio One. “That’s why the pandemic was such a shock. I’d say I spend probably 85 percent of my time touring and have done for as long as I can remember — since 1985 or ’86. And that’s what I love to do.”
“People think I’m crazy because the older I get, the more I love touring — it’s, like, the more exciting it is for me,” he continued. “But a lot of it is because of the simple fact that I love guitar playing, and my favorite venue for actually playing is live as opposed to being in the studio or being at home. So if I really wanna get off on guitar playing, I’ve gotta go out on tour.”
It’s not every day that you get to see one of the world’s most talented guitarists in the flesh, and he’s just as excited to see you on this Slash tour. Check the following dates and get your tickets!
