Train 2021 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
Train is bringing their feel-good hits on the road this summer, and it’s exactly what we all need in 2021. Shows begin on August 10th in Wilmington, NC, and continue for roughly two months before wrapping up in Red Bank, NJ, on October 16th.
2021 is a big year for Train. Not only does it mark two decades of one of the band’s double-platinum albums, Drops of Jupiter, it also saw their 2009 hit “Hey Soul Sister” make history.
You may know the song we’re talking about – the upbeat hit played in countless films, TV shows, and department stores in the 2010s. These days it’s known for earning Diamond status from the Recording Industry Association of America, representing more than 10 million in streams or sales.
While Train has plenty of cheery pop-rock hits from their ten studio albums, “Hey Soul Sister” is the feel-good anthem that all of us need after a stressful year like 2020. And the band can’t wait to play it on tour! Alongside “Calling All Angels,” “Meet Virginia,” “Drive By,” and “Drops of Jupiter,” of course.
What else has Train been up to in 2021? Joining the Dirty Heads for an updated collab of their song “Vacation,” celebrating the hit going viral on TikTok.
“Thank you to Pat Monahan [lead singer of Train] for hopping on this new version. It is a gift to everyone who has made us smile with their ‘Vacation Challenge’ videos over the past year,” the bands said in a joint statement.
While Train has been around for nearly three decades and Dirty Heads since 2006, both bands are beloved by Gen Z… who will likely be joined by their parents and millennial siblings on the upcoming Train tour.
