Third Eye Blind 2023 Tour Announcement – 25 Years in the Blind Tour Schedule
Third Eye Blind continues on the second leg of the “25 Years in the Blind tour!” The alternative rock icons will kick off on March 10th in New Orleans, LA, making stops in Macon, GA, Chicago, IL, Tucson, AZ, and more before finishing up on April 15th in Pala, CA.
“25 years of Third Eye Blind finds us feeling glorious as if everything is coming into deeper focus,” frontman Stephan Jenkins said in a statement. “It’s not lost on us that this is a miracle and that we are in it because of the new fans that keep discovering us and the people who, over the years, have made our music part of their culture.” It’s hard to believe that it’s been a quarter-century since their self-titled debut, which features singles like “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Graduate,” and “Jumper,” which were basically the soundtrack of the late 90s! This Third Eye Blind tour will be a celebration of the project that catapulted them to global stardom, plus all the records since that have helped them maintain and build upon their fanbase.
They’ve already embarked on the first leg of this Third Eye Blind tour alongside Taking Back Sunday and Hockey Dad, but they’re ready to kick things up a notch in 2023. How can you enhance a legacy that already includes 25 years, 12 million albums sold, and endless bands inspired by Third Eye Blind? Jenkins isn’t exactly sure, but it doesn’t hurt that he still thinks of his group as an indie rock band rather than certified rock stars. For the record, they completely are!
“Third Eye Blind is a bigger band now than it was 20 years ago …we’re an underground indie rock band,” he told The Ringer in April 2022, “We’ve been mostly, until recent years, misunderstood and misidentified by the indie rock press. But we’ve always been a DIY indie rock band.” The band has been described as a lot of things — pop rock, alternative rock, post-grunge, and pop-punk, to name a few. But all this time, they’ve been an indie rock band, can you believe it? Jenkins and his bandmates will take you on a 25-year journey with the 2023 Third Eye Blind tour. Get your tickets now!
