The Lumineers 2022 Tour Announcement – Brightside Tour Schedule
The Lumineers are heading on the Brightside tour this spring, named for their newly-released fourth album. The folk-rock duo will begin performances on May 18th in Jacksonville, FL, and visit nearly 50 cities before wrapping up on September 25th in Bridgeport, CT.
This will be the first time that the Lumineers tour the US since March 2020, when the group’s “III: The World Tour” run was abruptly halted by the pandemic. This series of shows will honor previous dates, while also gifting fans with new folk-rock tunes. Brightside is packed with upbeat tracks that Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites can’t wait to play, and you’ll be swaying along to every song.
New singles like “Big Shot,” “A.M. Radio,” and the titular track have all been climbing the charts since the album’s January 2022 release. In fact, “Brightside” recently made history when it reached No. 1 on Billboard’s “Alternative National Airplay” and “Adult Alternative Airplay” charts – becoming the sixth The Lumineers song atop the latter ranking in less than a decade. This joins the already-impressive list of the band’s accolades, including two Grammy nominations and millions of albums sold, but it’s the music that keeps fans coming back for more.
2022 marks ten years since The Lumineers swayed into our hearts with their self-titled debut album, featuring staple songs like “Ho Hey” and “Submarine.” These folk-rock anthems could be found anywhere from mainstream radio to the main stage at Coachella, and the songs on Brightside are equally catchy.
It’s been a long road throughout the album writing process, dealing with the pandemic amongst other things, but Schultz and Fraites have come out stronger than ever. And now they’re ready to see you on the “Brightside” on this The Lumineers tour. Check the following dates and get your tickets to The Lumineers tour beginning Monday, February 14th!
