The Interrupters and Frank Turner 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule
The Interrupters and Frank Turner embark on a co-headlining trek in spring 2023! The punk music megastars will begin on April 20th in Portland, OR, making 30+ stops before concluding on June 3rd in Anaheim, CA.
“With the recent release of our fourth album, In The Wild, we are so excited to get back out on the road and celebrate live music across the U.S. and Canada with the incredibly talented Frank Turner and so many of our amazing friends,” The Interrupters say. “We can’t wait to see you all! This is gonna be a party!” Turner adds, “After doing 50 states in 50 days last summer, I was wondering how you follow that, in terms of touring the USA… And now I know – team up with one of the best punk bands out there.” He concludes, “I’m really excited to share a stage with The Interrupters; it feels like a meeting of minds and music. I can’t wait to hit the road.”
It’s certainly true that both artists have a lot to celebrate…especially the Interrupters! In the Wild was released in August 2022 to great reviews, all of which loved new tracks like “Anything Was Better,” “As We Live,” “My Heart,” and “Jailbird.” They’re opening up their hearts to their fans in an authentic way without losing their gritty vibes, and we love them for it. Apparently, so does Punktastic! “Interrupters fans will know exactly what to expect from the band thus far, but for those who don’t, think a cross between Madness, Rancid, and early Green Day fronted by a hybrid of Joan Jett and Brody Dalle,” the publication wrote. “With a touch more polish, but not so much that it compromises that raw and gritty sound. Then multiply the energy by about a million.”
As for Frank Turner? He’s doing what he loves best on this tour… performing his heart out. The folk-punk hero hit up all 50 US states last summer, and he’s still not ready to put away his guitar. He also released a new album in 2022, FTHC, and we can’t wait to hear new singles like “The Gathering,” “Non Serviam,” “Miranda,” and more!
