The Ghost Inside 2024 Tour Announcement – Searching For Solace Tour Schedule
The Ghost Inside is celebrating their sixth album, Searching For Solace, with a new trek across the country! Joined by Gideon, Void of Vision and Of Virtue, the Metalcore heroes will kick off on November 21st in Phoenix, AZ, extending through December 13th in Columbus, OH.
Searching For Solace came out in April, and has lived rent-free in our minds and playlists ever since. New songs like “Earn It,” “Death Grip,” “Wash It Away” and “Split” are melodic Metalcore at its finest. And vocalist Jonathan Vigil’s screams are more aggressive than ever as he belts out some of the darkest lyrics that The Ghost Inside has ever written.
It’s to be expected, as Searching For Solace is their first record since before the pandemic. But the band recently opened up about just how much these terrible times affected them as people and professionals. “We’ve always been a band that’s had a really positive outlook and overcoming adversity kind of vibes,” Vigil told Kerrang!
“That’s still a core ethos of the band – and that’s never going to change – but this record is like the first time we really explored the alternative, like, what if things are too much? What if you start to lose a little bit of your sanity? I think this record is really exploring like the outer limits of the mind for the first time, because there’s twists and turns, and ups and downs. Anywhere you go in life, it’s never just a linear path.”
This is evident on the new singles, particularly in the breakdown of “Death Grip.” “Feel the cold steel touch my fingertips/I see the reaper but I’m not afraid of him,” Virgil screams. “I won’t bleed out, I’ll just rub some dirt on it/Don’t need a lifeline, I got a death grip.” Most of us would be lying if we said we didn’t feel the same way at least a handful of times in our lives, and that’s precisely the point that Searching For Solace is trying to make.
The moments of pain and clarity that took place during the pandemic and beyond? They helped The Ghost Inside create one of their most revolutionary and relatable albums yet. While they’re also intent on performing old favorites, like “Engine 45,” “One Choice,” and “Dear Youth,” on this tour, it will primarily be a celebration of the album it’s named for. And you’ll mosh your heart out and scream right along with Virgil as he expresses his emotions through song. Get your The Ghost Inside tickets now!
