The Chicks 2023 Tour Announcement – US Tour Schedule

The Chicks are heading back to all your favorite cities in summer and fall 2023! Joined by Maren Morris and more surprise guests, the all-female country-pop trio will kick off on July 21st in Tulsa, OK, making 29 stops before they wrap up on September 18th in Toronto, ON.

They continue to support their latest album, 2020’s Gaslighter, which marked The Chicks’ first album in fourteen years, along with their debut under a new name. While “Dixie Chicks” owned the country music scene in the 1990s and early 2000s, they made it very clear that “The Chicks” were a force to be reckoned with in the 2020s. And boy, have they delivered! The trio, consisting of Natalie Maines, Emily Strayer, and Martie Maguire, embarked on a highly-successful trek last summer after a few years off from performing, and now they’re ready to do it all again. 

The Chicks knew how much you missed them, and the feeling was definitely mutual. Over the summer of 2022, they played their greatest hits like “Not Ready to Make Nice,” “Travelin’ Soldier,” “Goodbye Earl,” and more each night to thousands of fans! The crowd kicked up their heels and sang along to all the best country-pop essentials from the olden days, plus all-new tunes that take you into a new chapter of The Chicks. 

They’ve never been afraid to speak their mind, as a quick Google search will tell you, but The Chicks took things to a new level with Gaslighter. Featuring new tracks like “March March,” “Sleep at Night,” and “Julianna Calm Down,” the record explores the themes of heartbreak, betrayal, resilience, and never backing down from what you believe in. While Maines received a lot of backlash for her political opinions in the early 2000s, she knows that she’s in a safer space now. And she’s taking her power back and refusing to be silenced with Gaslighter. 

Not to mention, she’s encouraging her friends and fans to do the same! With Maren Morris on board, this The Chicks tour will be a summer of female empowerment, fierce country-pop hits, and all the seasoned singalongs you can imagine. Maines and her bandmates want to hear your voice just as much as you’d like to hear theirs, so will you sing back to them on this country-pop trek? We hope so!
