Do you have a bit of deja vu? We do too. It wasn’t long ago that we told you about Pink’s “Summer Carnival tour,” in which she’ll sing her way through the scorching months with Brandi Carlile, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, and more. Even if you already have your tickets to the summer 2023 trek, you can never see Pink too many times! Trust us; the uber-talented songstress gives maximum effort at every show. Known to hit every high note, do acrobatics over the stage, and perform a mix of her own pop bangers plus covers of Cyndi Lauper and Queen, you’ll soon see why Pink is known as the pop star of her generation.
Yes, we said it. No shade to Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, or anyone else, but Pink is truly the whole package. She’s broken barriers in the music industry for over two decades and sold 16 million albums while showing her fans the power of self-acceptance and speaking up for your beliefs. And we love her for it. She’s done it yet again with Trustfall, a personal and powerful record that taps into her identities as a talented musician and mother.
Pink (born Alicia Moore) shared a handwritten note on Instagram that displays how each letter in “Trustfall” represents a certain word, and how her daughter inspired such a process. “She thought it might be easier to choose single words than to write five paragraphs of feelings,” the note says, “I think binding words is my life’s work.” “It doesn’t matter how many you choose, it’s always hard, especially when you want to be deeply seen and understood,” she continued. Pink proceeds to express how “trustfall” is something we do every day, and how she has the utmost gratitude for her fans who have trusted her for nearly two decades!
Speaking of which, it won’t just be new songs like “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” and “Trustfall” that are performed on the fall 2023 Pink tour. You’ll also hear other essentials from the early 2000s and beyond, including “Get the Party Started,” “So What,” “Just Give Me a Reason,” “Try,” and way more! Pink is a musical icon that’s been a bonafide pop star for over 20 years, and you can’t miss your chance to see her not only in the summer but also this fall!
