The Breeders 2023 Tour Announcement – Last Splash 30th Anniversary Tour Schedule
The Breeders are back! The seasoned rockers are celebrating three decades of their sophomore album, Last Splash, with dozens of shows across the US. They’ll begin on August 3rd in Boise, ID, continuing through October 25th in Seattle, WA.
Being an alternative rock band in the 1990s wasn’t easy, competing with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and The Smashing Pumpkins. However, Last Splash was an album that proved The Breeders could hold their own. Featuring singles like “Cannonball,” “Divine Hammer,” and “Saints,” the record peaked in the top half of the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum in less than a year!
Over the decades, millions of people and publication have paid their respects to Last Splash. Pitchfork named it one of the best records of the 1990s, while it even made No. 293 on Rolling Stone‘s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time!” It’s one of alternative rock’s most enduring masterpieces (actual quote!) that has stood the test of time.

The Breeders just reissued the album with a never-before-heard track, “Go Man Go,” co-written with Pixies vocalist Black Francis.
