It’s been twelve years since T-Pain released the hit song “Can’t Believe It,” which famously rhymed “mansion” with “Wiscansin” and helped establish him as an AutoTune pioneer. He still appreciates the state in 2022, making it the final stop on his T-Pain tour, and is taking fans to “Wiscansin University” in a series of major cities.
What began as a marketing opportunity and popular meme for T-Pain has become an empire. He launched the fictional Wiscansin University in 2018 for the tenth anniversary of “Can’t Believe It,” which taught classes like “Mixology” and “Accounting for Strippers.” Gotta love higher education, right? He’s released six albums since 2004, the seventh having a name (A Day Out With the Girls) but no set release date yet.
