Subtronics is changing the scope of electronic music yet again with his “Fibonacci Tour 2026,” bringing his latest record to a new audience. He’ll begin the 2026 Subtronics tour on January 23rd in Toronto, ON, making stops in Calgary, AB, Seattle, WA, Detroit, MI, and more before finishing up on March 20th in Boston, MA.
The Philadelphia DJ is pushing his bass-heavy beats into new territory on the 2026 Subtronics tour, named for his recent album. Fibonacci Part 1: Oblivion was released last April, described by EDM.com as “a sonic spectacle that balances brute-force energy with cerebral ambition.” Is there a better way to explain the one-of-a-kind mind of Jesse Kardon, also known as Subtronics?
“My album Fibonacci is representative of everything in life, an all-encompassing code to the world, which is what the Fibonacci sequence actually is in science and nature,” Subtronics said in a statement. “When I write music, it takes me on journeys through emotions and different worlds I’m trying to build, with my own code/sound.”
“I feel so much through the process and want to bring that same experience to listeners. The album is my personal journal from the past two years, a range of emotions and experiences, a range of worlds and realities in song-form. A lot of the tracks are very different from anything I’ve released before, and I’m excited to showcase 15 years of progress with it.”
New tracks like “Oblivion,” “Stratosphere,” “Final Breath” and “Mothclaws” are a mix of orchestral rhythms, bass-heavy drops, and mind-blowing dubstep beats that only Substronics could pull off. He’s always been about hybridizing — dubstep, riddim, glitch, and cinematic sound design — but Fibonacci leans heavier into narrative while still delivering the brutal drops fans love.
These songs show off his ability to balance emotional resonance and pure bass energy… and we’re always here for it. Subtronics has headlined big festivals, sold out arenas and residencies (like six sold-out nights at the Shrine in L.A.), and launched his own label, Cyclops Recordings He’s also been recognized in DJ Mag North America and held titles like Dubstep Artist of the Year.
