Stray Kids 2022 Tour Announcement – Maniac Tour Schedule
Stray Kids are coming to a city near you on their Maniac tour! The K-Pop giants are celebrating their new EP, Oddinary, and the 9-date trek is going to be incredible. Catch the group beginning June 28th in Newark, NJ, with the final show happening on July 14th in Seattle, WA.
The 8-piece group released their sixth Korean-language EP, Oddinary, in March 2022, and it’s safe to say that people were impressed. The record debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, a first for Stray Kids, while fans and critics praised the single “Maniac” on social media. NME was one of the top US publications to positively review Oddinary, making note of their new sound that incorporates not only K-pop but hip-hop, EDM, trap, and rock.
“What makes Stray Kids so special, you ask?,” wrote NME. ”It’s not just the fact that they self-produce the majority of their repertoire, or how astonishing their performances and visuals are. But perhaps it’s somewhere in the way they are always questioning themselves, and then, they reflect that process back to us like a mirror.”
The review was finished with a powerful statement on Oddinity, calling it an “elegant step forward for a group who, hopefully, will never get tired of raising questions” We certainly have a lot of questions about the Korean boy band — composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. How do they put on such an incredible live show? Will they play their older tracks on the Maniac tour? How did a band that formed only five years ago reach such a global level of success? Somehow we feel like all our questions will be answered on this Stray Kids tour, a brief but powerful trek across the US.
